USED BOOKS AT ALL LIBRARIES
(WITH A particularly awesome SALE AREA AT CENTRAL LIBRARY)
The Friends of the Mississauga Library holds used book sales at all 18 Library locations. Visit your favourite library location and buy great, affordable used books!
Within our area on the ground floor in the Central Library we have "The Glass Room", where we house our selection of better quality books offered at very attractive prices during our hours of operation. All of the books are reasonably priced (approximately a third to half the price on Amazon).
Please visit us in the Glass Room on the Main Floor on Wednesdays and Saturdays 9 am to 12 noon, or contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. All proceeds go to supporting extended programs and services of the library system within our community.

READ TO SUCCEED PROGRAM
The Library’s Read 2 Succeed Program spreads the message of the joys of reading and the importance of continuing to read for fun to all children (and parents) in this city. The program encourages Grade 4 teachers, students and their parents to get to know their public library.
Each year the Library presents its Grade 4 Read 2 Succeed Program. The literature tells us that it is at the Grade 4 milestone that children stop reading and start spending more time watching TV, and playing video and computer games.
The program runs from September - May. A part of this program is a reward system for children visiting their local library with their families. Children receive book prizes.
The Friends of the Library provides support and funding each year for the Grade 4 Read 2 Succeed Program.
